National Safety Council honors Lyman-Richey's safety program for fifth year in a row
For the fifth year in a row, the National Safety Council honored the Lyman-Richey Corporation with a Nebraska Safest Company Award at the organization's annual Celebration of Safety Awards Luncheon on May 24th.
The Safety Council judges a company's safety program and submitted safety logs, including three years of OSHA 300 logs. The OSHA logs are judged on a weighted average that puts more weight on the most recent year.
"Safety awards are not given, they are earned," Lyman-Richey's Safety Director Dave Dailey said. "With all of us at Lyman-Richey corporation working together as a team, we can reach our goal of zero accidents and zero incidents to ensure that all of our employees return safely to their families at the end of their shift."
The Safety Council recognized 92 Nebraska companies at the luncheon and praised each company's individual efforts to reduce workplace injuries and illnesses unique to each company's situation.
"It was an honor to receive this award on behalf of all of the employees on the entire Lyman-Richey Corporation team," Dailey said. "Thank you all for your hard work and commitment to safety, I feel we truly have the best of the best employees."
