STAFF NEWS: Derby Promoted to Purchasing Assistant

Lyman-Richey Corporation's Cathi Derby has moved to the corporate office's purchasing assistant.

Lyman-Richey Corporation's Cathi Derby has been promoted to purchasing assistant.

Derby joined Lyman-Richey as the switchboard operator and receptionist at the corporate office in May 2013.

"After sitting at the receptionists desk for more than four years, I felt it was time to challenge myself and learn something new," Derby said. "Purchasing seems like a good fit. It is a very busy position and will keep me constantly learning."

As the corporate office's purchasing assistant, Derby will be responsible for processing purchase orders, ordering office supplies, and helping Purchasing and Equipment Manager John Dickerson within the purchasing department.

"Lyman-Richey is a great company, and I'm excited to grow here," Derby said.
